I'm a first time Mom and caring for my baby has never been easy. There have been bouts of colic, asthma, coughs, cold and tantrums – so being able to sneak off for a few minutes and get some much needed rest and relaxation is such a treat. Fellow moms have advised me to get a baby swing, since it simulates the rocking motion moms give their babies when they are held or lulled to sleep. They say that the swing also soothes baby's tantrums and is a real practical piece to invest on. Problem was that my friends and relatives were all recommending different brands and models of baby swings. And this has made things all the more confusing for me. Finally, I decided to go online and just look for baby swing reviews written and posted by fellow moms and industry experts. They proved to be very helpful. Being experts they provided comparisons on different brands, models and prices. With these baby swing reviews I was able to arrive at a decision on which brand and model to buy. Also following their advice, I ordered from an online catalog and the beautiful baby swing arrived at my door in a mere two days. I was never so happy and relieved! |

My charcoal grey pashmina is my goto scarf when I want feel comfortable away from home. In fact, when I created my avatar character for Second Life, an online game for socializing, I had a pashmina made for her that is almost identical to mine. Last year I discovered one my friends in Second Life lived in a nearby city and we agreed to meet and enjoy a meal together. She asked, "how will I know you?" I told her, don't worry, she'll have no problem recognizing me! I dressed exactly like my avatar, including my favorite pashmina. When I walked into the restaurant, we both said, almost in unison, "Hey, it's you!" Since then we've spent countless hours together. I think that first minute was prophetic in that sometimes we almost seem to read each other's thoughts. Now when I wear that pashmina, I can't help but to remember how much fun I've enjoyed with my friend both online and in the real world. |

My favorite handbag is Coach. I began collecting Coach bags about 5 years ago and fell in love. Prior to that, I was into black evening bags - I had a large collection of them. Now though, my tastes have changed considerably! I try to buy about 2 to 3 new bags per year. I like to purchase one during the spring and then again in the winter. The ones that I currently have are a light pink bag type with two thick handles. This one has the word Coach written on the front. I like to get the bags that are understated and don’t blast Coach all over the bag. The other bag is a darker winter green with two dark brown handles. It is easy access with a wide opening. The bag I plan to get this season is called the Penelope. They are usually offering 30% off coupons that helps a lot with the cost. Whenever I go to a outlet the Coach store is the first place I visit. The leather is so soft and just taking the purses give me a lot of pleasure. |

The internet has set us shoe lovers free. No longer are we restricted to the limitations of our local village or town shops. We can buy any kind of shoe online now - even shoes for swollen feet if necessary!
Many worry about shoes not fitting them when they buy online, but most shoe vendors online carefully label each of their shoes with available sizes, and of course, you must buy shoes stating the size you require too. Even if they didn't fit you, you can send them back for another pair that will.
The convenience of buying online is another plus point. You don't have to go into town to buy something - you can buy it from the comfort of your own bedroom.
So don't be afraid to shop online for your favourite shoes - you will save money and time, just like when you buy other items online. |

I have not been to many weddings in my life, but the few that I have been to, I have hated. I do not like weddings at all, they were extremely boring and LONG. I'm tired of the bridesmaids waffling on about how lovely the bride's wedding tiara looks, or what shade of cream her dress will be.
Maybe I did not like weddings so much because I was little, and all of them were church weddings, and we all know that those are EXTREMELY LONG. In May my oldest brother is getting married to his fiance, I am a bridesmaid and I am dreading this wedding. Yeah, sure I am really happy for him and excited that he found someone that he loves but I am not excited to spend my whole Saturday in a church standing for hours on end, IN HEELS. For me weddings are an act of passion, and love that I hope everyone will get to have for themselves one day, but at the same time...the actual ceremony, sucks! I am planning to get married sometime in August, and I am super excited, you want to know why? I am so excited because I am going to be married by Elvis Presley in Las Vegas, now that is a good wedding that is way better than any other! |

My favorite fashion item of all the things I own, and there are plenty, is my pair of red patent high heel shoes! Oh boy these shoes, they make everything look so much better and always make me feel like a million bucks. I am a true "shoeaholic" too - I have anything from escape ladies shoes to faux snug boots. But my red shoes are my favorites. I wear them with jeans to add a hint of sexy to my normal wear or I wear them to dress up an otherwise too dark all black outfit, especially dresses. No body likes a girl that doesn't shine, sparkle and hold the attention of everyone. Thankfully with these shoes I never have a problem of not getting noticed. I really can't think of any bad things to say about these shoes. They don't pinch or rub my feet, and they are just the right height meaning I can actually walk and party hard in them. Yep, these shoes have to be my favorite fashion item, they are just so perfect! |

I'm a bit of a shoe collector. I'm different in that I have a really wide variety - from gladiator sandals to wellington boots - due to my work, and my hobbies. One of my hobbies is to go hiking. Nothing makes me happier than getting out of the house or out of the office and out on to the trails. I used to go hiking with my friends all of the time but eventually yearned for something more. Then I heard about trail races and it sounded fun, so I tried one out. I was hooked. Racing through the forest or mountains? It was so cool. One problem was that my regular running shoes just weren’t doing the trick. I saw other racers wearing specialized shoes that seemed to have more grab on the sole of the shoe along with tougher looking midfoot support. The biggest problem I had run into on the trails was sliding around on the mud and stepping on hard, sharp rocks. I did some research and settled on some New Balance trail racer shoes. Not only are they tough and rugged, but they are lightweight and are comfortable when I am just kicking around town. I wear them everywhere! |
