I Dislike Weddings With a Big Passion

I have not been to many weddings in my life, but the few that I have been to, I have hated. I do not like weddings at all, they were extremely boring and LONG. I'm tired of the bridesmaids waffling on about how lovely the bride's wedding tiara looks, or what shade of cream her dress will be.
Maybe I did not like weddings so much because I was little, and all of them were church weddings, and we all know that those are EXTREMELY LONG. In May my oldest brother is getting married to his fiance, I am a bridesmaid and I am dreading this wedding. Yeah, sure I am really happy for him and excited that he found someone that he loves but I am not excited to spend my whole Saturday in a church standing for hours on end, IN HEELS. For me weddings are an act of passion, and love that I hope everyone will get to have for themselves one day, but at the same time...the actual ceremony, sucks! I am planning to get married sometime in August, and I am super excited, you want to know why? I am so excited because I am going to be married by Elvis Presley in Las Vegas, now that is a good wedding that is way better than any other!
