The importance of knowing a product well before selling it

The sales company that I own has come from a lot hard work and sweat and a lot of mistakes and learning. Starting off was really hard but one thing that was of an advantage to me was the fact that I was very good with people and engaging them in to conversation was not really that hard. My first job as a sales person, I got it when I was sixteen because I went to the jobs tamworth agency and they helped me find a sales job. Talking to people was not a problem the issue was how to make them buy the product. Then I learned that all I had to do is to treat that product as a necessity and they would buy it. Another important thing that I learned is to be able to be a good sales person then I had to know all I could know about what it was that I was selling. This is because the buyers would have doubts about what I was selling and I would have to assure them that it is good and explain what the product entails
